Your child should bring their math textbook, notebook, stationery (pens, pencils, eraser, ruler), and any worksheets or practice papers provided by their school or tutor. A water bottle and a small snack can also be helpful.
Schedule regular check-ins with the tutor to discuss your childs progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Share any specific concerns or learning challenges your child is facing, and be open to the tutors suggestions and strategies.
Designate a quiet and comfortable study space for your child, free from distractions. Encourage a growth mindset by praising effort and persistence rather than just grades. Offer help when needed, but also encourage independent problem-solving.
