Checklist: ensuring your glass display cabinet is level and stable

Leveling prevents wobbling, ensures doors align properly, and protects the glass from undue stress, prolonging the cabinets life and stability.

Youll typically need a level, shims (wooden or plastic), and possibly a screwdriver or wrench if the cabinet has adjustable feet.

Place the level on the top surface of the cabinet, both horizontally and vertically. If the bubble isnt centered, the cabinet isnt level.

Identify which corner(s) are causing the cabinet to be uneven. Place shims underneath those corners until the level indicates it is balanced.

Use a screwdriver or wrench to adjust the feet until the cabinet is level. Check with a level to ensure accuracy after each adjustment.
